Junior High School 1 jakarta

State Junior High School – ONE is the oldest School in Jakarta located in Cikini Streer number 87, Menteng Central Jakarta. Established in 1948 with its first Principal, Mr R. Soeparmo. The School’s building was built by The Dutch Colonial Government, while the exact data of year of the building establishment so far is unknown for sure.

SMP Negeri 1 Jakarta established in 1947, while the building is a building used by the former Eerste SCHOOL D built in 1907. Eerste SCHOOL D is a school owned by the Dutch East Indies government for the first indigenous person who is in Batavia. In 1947, the Government of the Republic of Indonesia took over the building for use as aschool named SMP Negeri 1 Djakarta (spelling at the time). Currently, SMP Negeri 1Jakarta will be the International Standard School. In 2009 SMP Negeri 1 Jakartaobtain ISO 9001:2000 Certificate.
